At A1 Gas Force we are Gas Safe registered gas engineers and this allows us to carry out work on your boiler, and provides assurances to you, the customer about the safety standards of that work.
You boiler is a powerful device that is usually in action day after day, with the wear and tear to match. Appliances that deal with hot water have additional problems to contend with, due to corrosion and build up of mineral deposits, such as lime scale. But remember, you should only call on a professional Gas Safe engineer if problems develop.
What does Gas Safe do?
Gas Safe is the official register of approved gas engineers for the UK. It replaced CORGI in April 2009.
It is vital that any gas appliance in the home is worked on by someone with the qualifications and skills to do the job, due to the risk posed by gas leaks, fire, explosions and carbon monoxide poisoning. Gas Safe is there to provide reassurance for the public and to protect from operators who may not have the ability to carry out a job safely.
The Gas Safe body holds the register, and actively carries out investigations into rogue practice. It also conducts regular inspections of Gas Safe registered engineers, and educates consumers about gas safety.
So if you need an engineer to install, repair or carry out checks on your boiler, you can use the register to choose an engineer, or to check that your engineer is registered. Their website is also a great place to go for advice on gas safety.
28 years of approved service demonstrates our commitment to best practice when it comes to your boiler. Contact us now for repair or further information on any of our services.
